Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SightSpec (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. This is starter copy — we recommend a legal review before public launch.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be a legally licensed home inspector or otherwise authorized to perform property inspections in your jurisdiction.

Your content

You retain ownership of the inspection content you create (reports, photos, observations). You grant SightSpec a limited license to host and process that content as required to provide the Service.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes.
• Don’t attempt to bypass billing, abuse rate limits, or attack the platform.
• Don’t upload content you do not have the right to upload.

Reports are not warranties

A SightSpec-generated report reflects observations made on the date of inspection only. It is not a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy. SightSpec does not perform inspections; the licensed inspector using the Service is responsible for the conclusions in their reports.

Billing

Paid plans renew automatically at the price displayed at signup. Cancel any time from the billing tab in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. After termination we delete your data on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, SightSpec disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
